Netflix’s The Witcher Season 3 wraps production
According to a report from Redanian Intelligence, the third season of the renowned series The Witcher has completed filming. Moreover, Bola Ogun, who is the director of the last two episodes of the upcoming season, took to his Instagram account to confirm the news. After approximately 120 days, the crew completed filming.
Earlier, Redanian Intelligence also confirmed that Netflix had greenlit the fourth and fifth seasons of the franchise. Furthermore, its production will take place simultaneously. It seems like Netflix does want its audience to wait for more adventures of Geralt of Rivia.
What will The Witcher Season 3 be about?
The third season will give a befitting conclusion to the second season’s cliffhanger. It will continue from the events where White Flame was revealed as Ciri’s father, Duny, aka Emhyr Var Emreis. Moreover, it will showcase the most brutal scene as the Thanedd coup witnesses a group of mages and other significant characters.
Netflix hasn’t revealed a specific release date, so fans can expect it to arrive in early 2023. However, the second season was released after two months of its post-production; we can’t speculate on the exact release date for now.
