God of War is an action-adventure game franchise created by David Jaffe at Sony’s Santa Monica Studio. The franchise started in 2005 on PlayStation 2 videogame console. It has launched seven games across multiple platforms and has also become a flagship title for the PlayStation brand.

‘God Of War’ live-action TV series

According to a report from the deadline, Amazon Prime is negotiating a deal with Sony to develop a live-action series. The series will be based on the popular ancient mythology-themed game ‘God of War’. It will be an adaptation of Sony Pictures Television and Playstation Productions.
However, this will not be the only gaming franchise to have a TV series. If Sony closes the deal, ‘God of War’ will join The Last of Us and Twisted Metal as the latest PlayStation exclusives to make the jump to live-action TV.
